CSI is led by a senior management team with over 100 years of health care and management experience. The depth and breadth of the skills and backgrounds is a tremendous asset for realizing the CSI vision of becoming the most trusted name in admirable caregiving services.
Mr. Soderquist joined CSI as President and CEO at its inception in April 2000 and assumed the role of Vice Chairman of Caregiver Services in April 2008. He is the architect of the current company and has led CSI from a start-up to its position today as the largest caregiver registry in the nation. He assembled and directs a management team that shares his commitment to quality service for clients, caregivers, employees and investors.
Mr. Soderquist has more than 30 years of healthcare experience in a wide variety of executive positions in operations and finance. Prior to joining CSI, he served as Vice President and General Manager for PerSe Technologies, a leading physician practice management firm. He spent nine years at PST building various regions and operations while growing and improving earnings. He joined PerSe from HBO & Company, a prominent hospital systems company, in which he served as Vice President of Finance after having spent many years directing service and installation operations.
Mr. Soderquist earned a BS in Business and Finance at Brigham Young University. He serves on the board of various industry groups and community service organizations.
Mr. Hoyer joined CSI as Chief Financial Officer in January 2014. Mr. Hoyer brings over 25 years of experience building, strengthening and leading sound finance and accounting functions in a variety of situations, including private equity-backed companies, “turnarounds”, a start-up company and publicly-traded companies.
Mr. Hoyer began his career at Fluor Corporation, serving in various financial management positions. Following his 15-year tenure with Fluor, he held CFO positions at Globequip LLC, Nationsrent, Digital Angel Inc., eDiets Inc. and, prior to joining CSI, The St. Joe Company.
Mr. Hoyer earned his Bachelor’s in Finance and Master’s in Business Administration degrees from Clemson University.
Steven L. Hochhauser serves as the Executive Vice President of Business Development for CSI. Mr. Hochhauser joined CSI in 1999 as Regional Vice President and subsequently as Executive V.P. of Business Development. His 35 yrs of management level healthcare experience includes responsibilities as a Corrective Therapist, Nursing Home Owner/Administrator; CEO of a nationally recognized Rehab Services Provider and as National Manager of Kemper Insurances’ Medical Utilization Management Program.
Mr. Hochhauser has a Bachelors degree in Physical Education specializing in Corrective Therapy from Springfield College, Masters degree in Therapeutic Recreation from University of North Carolina, Graduate Level Work in Health Care Administration at Florida International University and Certification in Long Term Care Administration from the University of Connecticut. Steve is married with 5 children and 5 grandchildren.
Mary Donovan is a member of Caregiver Services, Inc. (CSI) executive team since 2006. As Sr. Vice President, Mary oversees the operations and business development for the north, central and west coast of Florida.
With 25 years healthcare management experience in the hospital, hospice and home health setting, Mary began her nursing career in Boston receiving a nursing diploma from New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing and an A.S. Degree from Pine Manor Jr. College.
She continued her education at Florida International University obtaining a Bachelors degree in Health Services Administration.
Mary was recognized for outstanding work in her field and community with the 2008 Woman of Distinction Award by Soroptimist International. In addition to community educational presentations throughout Florida, Mary was a presenter at National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s national conference and Florida Council on Aging statewide conferences.
Mary is a member of the National Gerontological Nursing Association and South Florida Gerontological Society.
As an active volunteer for hospice and the community police department, Mary enjoys being an advocate for the geriatric community.
Ms. Rodriguez is presently the Vice President of Provider Services. In this role, she is responsible for all Home Health agency and Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care operations. Under her direction since 2012, Provider Services has developed into a significant and strategic growth business for CSI. Ms. Rodriguez joined CSI in 2008 as a business development specialist, later assuming the role of administrator of HealthMed Home Care, CSI’s first home health agency.
Prior to joining CSI, Ms. Rodriguez built a 20-year healthcare career as a nurse and entrepreneur having established her own home health agency, branded and marketed medical equipment, contracted services to government agencies, provided direct care, and directed other healthcare professionals.
Ms. Rodriguez received her BSN from Barry University, her WOCN from Emory University, and a large variety of healthcare education and credentialing throughout her career.
